Exploring The World, One Place At A Time
When thoughts turn to wildlife, Africa immediately takes center stage! Whether you’re a seasoned animal observer or a first-time traveler, the allure of Africa’s signature savannah in the Serengeti is irresistible. But Africa is not just about wildlife safaris and the famous Big 5; it boasts vast tropical rainforests and stunning coastlines bordering the Indian Ocean to the East and the Atlantic Ocean to the West. From the towering Mt. Kilimanjaro to the breathtaking Victoria Falls, the continent offers diverse and awe-inspiring natural beauty.
Fortunately, I had the opportunity to spend a month in Kenya, where I both volunteered and traveled extensively. The experience was truly enriching as I immersed myself in the country’s vibrant culture and encountered incredible wildlife.
Later, I ventured to Ethiopia for a week, where I witnessed the miracles of nature. The country’s unique landscapes and historical treasures left me in awe.
In 2022, I explored South Africa with my 70-year-old aunt. We soaked up the sun on the beaches of Cape Town, wandered through the charming streets of George, and enjoyed thrilling game drives in Kruger National Park.
Africa’s allure has left an indelible mark on my heart, and I yearn to explore more of this magnificent continent. Egypt, Morocco, and Tanzania hold prominent positions on my travel bucket list, and I can’t wait to experience their wonders.
While I dream of my future African adventures, you can scroll down to read about my unforgettable journeys in Kenya, Ethiopia and South Africa.
