Wedged between the lofty Himalayas and the steamy Indian plains, Nepal is a land of snow peaks and Sherpas, yaks and yetis, monasteries, and mantras. This landlocked country lying close to India and China houses the highest peak of the world, Mt. Everest, and was termed as ‘the most budget-friendly destination’ by Lonely Planet in 2015.
I’ve had the chance to experience one of the best things in Nepal – the mountain flight that took me close to the highest peak in the world – and I shall never forget that moment.
