Some places evoke vivid images in our minds, and for Japan, it’s hard not to picture Mt. Fuji framed by the iconic cherry blossoms in full bloom. That’s why there could be no better time for a Japan Group Trip than during the magical cherry blossom season!
So, if Japan has been on your travel bucket list, it’s time to get Spirited and tick it off 🙂
——————————————————————————————————————–
Growing up in a Bengali family, Japan was always a place I co-related with Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose (ever since I was a kid, way before I even knew what cherry blossoms were and how they even looked like!). All I knew was that Netaji died in a plane crash and his ashes were kept in the Renkō-ji Temple in Japan. That’s all my textbooks taught me until World War II was added to the syllabus and I was introduced to Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
I was just 10 years old then, and little did I know about sakura, sushi, and sake – or that one day, I’d be co-hosting a trip to this distant land, which had, until then, only existed on the pages of my history book!
Needless to say, it’s been on my bucketlist for nearly 20 years now – and finally, I’m looking forward to exploring Japan with you!
When: 5th to 14th April 2025
Where: Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka
Group size: 14 travellers
If your history lessons haven’t inspired you enough, or the books of Murakami failed too – I would suggest you just come along with us, without looking for a reason!

And, trust me when I say this, my co-host for this Japan Group Trip knows the country at her fingertips! Not convinced yet? Check out her Japan travel guides, here.
