Busting The Myths: What It’s Like to Travel Across Bangladesh?

Exploring The World, One Place At A Time
The largest continent that hosts 60% of the world’s total population along with the magnificent Himalayas and the lush green rainforests, as well as the vast stretches of deserts – Asia, is undoubtedly a mysterious land full of amazing things. Being in love with the snow-clad Himalayas, unique cultures, warm people, diverse topography, colorful festivities, and delicious cuisines – I’ve had some of my best journeys exploring the nooks and corners of India and then traversing beyond the borders – hopping around mostly the Southeast Asian countries.
My first international trip was to Bhutan – the ‘Happiest Country In The World’ as they say, and I had a month to spend there – ticking off nearly all that was there on my bucket list. Later, I traveled to Singapore where a friend’s cousins lived and had a ‘home away from home’ feeling while being on a vacay. I took the ‘Mountain Flight’ to get a closer look at Mt. Everest in Nepal and then backpacked across Cambodia, wandering around the ruins of Angkor. In 2019, I took a trip to Thailand with my childhood BFF and had a crazy island hopping experience and later, kicked off the New Year 2020 in Vietnam! Recently, in December 2021, I traveled to Sri Lanka – soaking in the sunshine & beach vibes! In March 2022, I planned for a workation in Bangladesh for a month – and also, took the opportunity to explore this land from where my grandmother came from.
Over the years, I have been taking baby steps of fulfilling my travel dreams and slowly exploring places, learning more through my experiences, and weaving beautiful stories worth sharing.
So scroll down to read more about my journeys across Asia :)
