We’ll also dive into the vibrant culture of Phnom Penh – the Cambodian capital, and soak up the sun on the pristine island of Koh Rong (go ahead, Google it!).

When we think of traveling to Southeast Asia, the first names to pop up are Thailand, Vietnam, or Bali. But there’s a gorgeous gem nestled between Thailand and Vietnam that’s rarely visited by Indians, even though we’ve shared a rich history with it for centuries.
We’re talking about Cambodia – the land with the world’s largest temple complex. Khyati and I wanted to plan something unique for our January group trip. After diving deep into research, we decided to take you on an unforgettable adventure to Cambodia! Get ready for a blend of culture, history, hidden gems, stunning beaches, fascinating tales, and the best of authentic Khmer cuisine!

Cambodia Group Trip Itinerary
Day 1: January 25, 2025 – Welcome to Siem Reap!
Once you arrive in Siem Reap, you will head straight to check in at the hotel (remember, check-in starts at 2 PM, but if you arrive early, we’ll do our best to get you settled in), get ready for an exciting adventure ahead!
Day 2: January 26, 2025 – Discover Angkor Thom, Ta Prohm, and Angkor Wat
It’s time to finally embrace the ancient wonders of Angkor! First up, Angkor Thom—the majestic fortress of King Jayavarman VII. As you stroll through its grand gates, prepare to be blown away by its scale and beauty.
Next, we’ll explore Ta Prohm, famous for its appearance in Tomb Raider, where tree roots hug the ruins in a magical embrace.
And of course, we can’t miss Angkor Wat, the crown jewel of Cambodia! This stunning 12th-century temple is the world’s largest religious monument. Wander through its corridors and uncover the mysteries of its mesmerizing bas-reliefs.
We’ll wrap up the day with a breathtaking sunset at Pre Rup Temple—trust me, it’s pure magic!
Day 3: January 27, 2025 – Banteay Srei and Tonle Sap Lake
After a hearty breakfast, we’re off to the enchanting Banteay Srei Temple, known for its exquisite pink sandstone carvings—perfect for your Instagram feed!
On our way back, we’ll stop at Pradark Village to see locals creating palm sugar and beautiful handicrafts. It’s a wonderful glimpse into authentic Cambodian life.
In the afternoon, we’ll explore the floating village on Tonlé Sap Lake. Glide across Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake and witness the fascinating floating schools and police stations.
Day 4: January 28, 2025 – Scenic Journey to Phnom Penh
Who doesn’t love road trips? I guess there’s none!
After breakfast, we’ll embark on a scenic drive to Phnom Penh. This isn’t just a freeway dash; you’ll pass charming towns, villages, and beautiful landscapes, so keep that camera ready!
We’ll even stop at a secret spot to unleash your inner adventurer—this hidden gem will be revealed once you sign up!
Once we arrive in Phnom Penh, check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your leisure.
Day 5: January 29, 2025 – Exploring Phnom Penh’s Dark History
This morning, we’ll delve into Cambodia’s complex past. Our first stop is the Toul Sleng Genocide Museum (S21), a former school-turned Khmer Rouge prison.
Next, we’ll visit the Killing Fields, a serene memorial site. It’s an emotional journey but an important one.
In the afternoon, explore some of the local markets and soak in the vibrant atmosphere.
Day 6: January 30, 2025 – The Journey from Phnom Penh to Koh Rong
After breakfast, our driver will whisk you away to Sihanoukville. From there, hop on a speedboat to the stunning Koh Rong Island. Get ready to relax and unwind in paradise!
Day 7: January 31, 2025 – Sun, Sand, and Snorkel in Koh Rong
Today is all about soaking up the sun and chilling like a pro! After a bit of snorkeling, enjoy the pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters of Koh Rong. Whether you want to kayak, swim, or just lie on the beach, this day is all about relaxation. After all, what are holidays for?
Day 8: February 01, 2025 – Return to Phnom Penh
After breakfast, we’ll make our way back to Sihanoukville and then return to Phnom Penh. Enjoy a leisurely journey back to the capital. To celebrate our last night together, we’ll hit the night market and indulge in some delicious Khmer BBQ!
Day 9: February 02, 2025 – Departure from Phnom Penh
Enjoy your final breakfast in Cambodia! Spend your morning at your leisure until it’s time to head to the airport.
How much does this 8 nights 9 days Cambodia group trip cost?
Cost of Cambodia Group Trip: INR 85,990/person.
To secure your spot, pay a non-refundable fee of INR 35,000 by October 30, 2024.
The remaining balance must be paid on or before November 15, 2024, to confirm your booking. Failure to do so will result in cancellation.
